Closeup of an origami butterfly, made from blue spotty fabric. It is sitting amongst multiple stalks of a pot plant
A little Sunday craft - why not make this origami out of fabric?
Because fabric frays unlike paper.
I really have to remember to watch greys anatomy for the drama not the medicine.
So many clinical trial protocol violations in the first 5 mins of this episode IT MAKES ME ITCHY.
I'm beyond thinking the rain is good for the garden. I'm slightly worried the winter crop of onions may soon float away.

Enjoying a very British Sunday listening to classic 'I'm sorry I haven't a clue', whilst drinking tea and doing DIY.
It is raining solidly.
At the mercy of the capricious public transport system today. 1 bus an hour, if it bothers to stop (usually only a problem for my kids, but tales of their experiences cause me a flutter of nervousness every time the bus approaches).
A fluffy white cat is sat on a table, amid a partially set up game of Dorfromatik Romantik Sakura.

A close up of a courgette (zucchini) plant, with an open yellow flower. 5 large pointed petals, with crinkle edges, and yellow stamen to the centre.
I just love how cheerful the courgette flowers are, greeting the sun in the morning.

Photo of a garden. In the foreground is a paved area, with puddles of water forming. In the background there is a small white tent pitched on the lawn. It is raining.
I was "drying the tent" before putting it away π€¦ββοΈπ
At least I don't think I need to water the plants today π§οΈπΎπͺ΄
Once again I've fallen into the trap of cleaning the house for visitors rather than myself...
Love your stuff! Definitely coming back tomorrow!
We've nearly finished our Expo Bingo - should have made it harder!
Only the geese to go...

Fantastic ending to Baroness Kidron's speech in the House of Lords yesterday, which led to the government's defeat on AI & copyright.
Speaking the UK's creators: "Their property, their labour, is worthy of your protection - because apart from anything else, it is not ours to give away."
A close up of a yellow rose, surrounded by leaves. Bright sunlight and a glimpse of a very blue sky in the background
The world is a bit shit at the moment, so currently inward focused survival mode is activated.
Beautiful rose in my garden (the rose bush has looked after itself this year so I'm surprised anything has sprouted). Its scent is gorgeous, and reminds me of my grandad's garden in my childhood.
Why I can't do my homework (sorry).
I'd have said no based on my experience earlier. The one thing I could do to improve my (physical) health is to lose weight - was it mentioned? No.
No cheating. Post the last photo of your pet.
A photo of a garden, in the foreground is a metal table top, with an empty pad of paper, a full mug of tea, and a pile of D&D manuals. The grass is long.
Campaign planning vs mowing the lawn....
I think it was actually easier to put eye drops in the guinea pigs than in myself - not the way round I was expecting.
This is Douglas, as he's so very sure of himself and his position.
I remind the kids often that I provide them with their aeroplane....
Close up of a white fluffy cat looking directly at the camera, lying down with paws folded under his chin
He's either just being really snuggly or is planning to scoop out my brains with his claws. I can't quite decide.

A view of a cultivated field, some plants covered in hoops and netting, and various plots covered in anti-weed plastic. A clear blue sky.
A lovely morning at the community farm. Ice still on the cavalero nero leaves when we picked them. Trays of onion seeds planted up in the polytunnels. Hot tea to warm chilly fingers. Some unexpectedly solemn discussion that has lingered with me.
White cat asleep, heading resting on his human's hand
Snuggling up as if he hadn't just been reported to me for sleeping in someone's else's garden and worrying them that he was homeless!
My teens cause fewer issues (but shh let's not tempt fate...)

Adding ALT text nearly gave the game away!
What looks like sky seen through the tree branches, is actually a lake, made when the clay was dug up for a nearby brick factory. The sky reflected in the water was so perfect.
A photo taken looking through mostly leafless tree branches, and some green vegetation. A grey overcast sky is seen through the branches.

Which way is up? This photo I took on our walk this afternoon intrigued me, sky or water?
Yes, that's not the only place we find floof! You can imagine what any dark fabric looks like in our house...
You'd think there was a limit to how many pictures I could take of a slepy cute cat but it appears not.
I suspect I'm jealous.
