Expensive, but not *insane*.
I actually liked what Jared Issacman had to say during press conferences while Artemis II was going on, but his ties to the commercial space industry make me anxious.
Good god. I hope the soccer prices here in Columbus aren't that insane. My window opens Thursday.
Oh, absolutely. I do suspect Andy has conflated "partisan" with "political". Lots of people do.
Especially in the context of the attacks on science we've seen in the past year.
I watched a League One game in person last year and those teams were perhaps better than Orlando. This is a bad result. #Crew96
I picked the wrong week to quit huffing glue
I think if you're rooting against a player on your team you've lost the plot. I was pleasantly surprised at the support for him, but glad to see it.
Can't believe I have to work tomorrow morning after paying a bunch of money for overpriced beer and watching us tie perhaps the worst team I've ever seen. #Crew96
We didn't even fucking lose lmfao. That's how disappointing that was
Not why we lost - we are bad - but that was atrocious game management by the official. #Creq96
That goal completely changed the mood in the stands. #Crew96
Just, horrendous game management.
This fucker should NEVER officiate a match again. That drop ball was criminal. #Crew96
Twice now Picard has called for the ball from fans when it went into th stands. WE ARE LOSING. WHY ARE BOT IMMEDIATELY TOSSING IT TO HIM. #Crew96
Bullshit no call on the penalty, and then a ridiculous caution for Moreira. #Crew96
I do not think you're alone there
I like Taha's work as a false 9, but I worry that we don't have a big in-the-box presence.
Taha immediately into the false 9 role he played with the youth national teams #Crew96
You know, the guy that did a drive by taunting of Ali when he was down injured should've been cautioned. #Crew96
There are lots of other literature examples with similarly problematic creators or in-world racism. It can be tough to unwind. I think the *most* important thing - other than no longer funding the bad person's hateful speech - is doing real work to support marginalized communities.
But... what about building an unlicensed Lego MOC? Or otherwise engaging in the *fandom* while not shuttling money towards the horrible person? A bit less clear. I don't fault people who say this is too much *for them*. But continuing to enjoy HP if it was meaningful to you should be OK IMO.
This is a complicated topic, and relevant because of the theme night tonight. I think putting more money into the creator's pocket, especially directly, does fall pretty clearly on one side of the line. Watching a DVD you already own? Pretty clearly on the other side.
I saw a nice video about the interaction between beloved but flawed works and their problematic authors, and what constitutes "moral" interaction with those works. #Crew96
More choice is not, in fact, always better.
MONEY IS MADE UP AHHHHHHHHHHH
I agree that posting stuff like calling a real sport "fake" just makes *you* look silly. The point can be made that he's not fulfilling the responsibilities of the office without exaggerating/lying for effect.
