I need to remember to use this instead of my fandom account more
(I'm pretty sure I know what the confounding factor is, but still. Man)
A drawing of an emoji with a cigarette. The eyes have bags under them and are disproportionate in size, giving the impression of frazzled exhaustion.
When the het animals are preforming the assay better than the wildtypes (they should be doing worse)

Indeed. I myself am autistic, and my life has only improved after my late diagnosis, as it's thrown a lot of my world into context. I've gained a great deal of help from the online autistic community.
However, as a researcher, it's an absolute pain in the ass.

Contrary to popular belief, there are only four kinds of bats.

It has large, jagged mandibles and fairly thin long legs, as well as fur on its underside. Text: Utah's most special guy.
Utah's most special guy, the Coral Pink Sand Dunes tiger beetle, only occupies a 1800m x 300m area in the state park of the same name. This guy is NOT going places!
A black and white image depicting a skinny wide-eyed hair nibbling on a patch of flowers. Below it, engulphed in dark soil, is a mirror image of a hair skeleton. The roots of the plant tangle around its jaws.

An anatomically realistic wheel bug on a penny wheel bike. The bug has prominent wheel shaped spines on it's back and a little bowler hat.
