Are you hopping aboard the Easter Eggspress?
Just a week to go, and this year promises to be EGGStra special, for we'll be using our classic Edwardian carriages. As you can see, the Easter Bunny has been stockpiling all sorts of treats for the children travelling.

I'm not sure she'd forgive me if I posted a video of her chasing a cat intruder round her house while calling him Billy Big Balls so this will do instead.
Love animals, take the bus and make MLAs scared of you.
Some of us on here knew Natalie. She was funny and kind and she should be here with her son. Thank God justice has been done for her family x
Hope there is a resolution soon Conor
Good selection Conor
Mental health rights-based treatment guidelines
As a carer who is deeply familiar with the current system, I strongly support the ‘Give 5’ approach to rights-based reform of mental health services

Update: my beloved wife is now in psychiatric hospital
The four and a half year route to getting this help has been a disgrace, with countless errors & failures along the way
But the staff there are lovely and we hope this chapter will help get her some relief from her symptoms
Thank you all
Best wishes to you both Conor
When my wife was at her most unwell former Councillor Linzi McLaren was - behind the scenes - INCREDIBLY kind & helpful
Political unionism - esp the UUP and its supporters - should be awake at night asking itself how it managed to lose such a talent

Thinking about the McNally family, as well as Natalie’s friends, this week. What they‘re having to endure is impossible to fathom.

Comic illustration double spread page depicting a young boy in paddling pool and a soldier landing down in the garden.
The second part of my short illustrated graphic novel style story ‘The First Day I Never Forgot’, set to when I was a young child living with my family in a Loyalist estate in Belfast. Currently a work in progress, as I retell my earliest memory at the tail end of The Troubles. #illustration #comics
Graphic Novel Illustration featuring the Seymour Hill estate in Belfast. There is a a title that reads ‘The First Day I Never Forgot’. There is a colour scheme of red, white, and blue.
A graphic novel spread featuring terraced houses, the Good Friday Agreement ‘your decision’ poster, and a younger 3 year old James getting his height measured by his mum.
I’m in the process of capturing one of my earliest memories among the blurriness of early childhood years in a Loyalist estate in Belfast at the tail end of The Troubles. A work in progress that is getting adapted into a short illustrated story.

An illustration capturing James as a working illustrator, along with his clothes, tools, and utilities he uses. It purposely looks like a menu screen from Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Menu screen from Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Instead of using ChatGPT to make a caricature based on me and my job I used my own AI (Actual Imagination) to generate this image of me as a working illustrator (yes, I grew up playing the Ocarina of Time). #illustration #kidlitart #kidlit #zelda

Enjoy your Saturday night Fiona chat again tomorrow
A year ago I slashed my way to the bottom of the garden hoping to stop the encroaching mare's tail, ivy, nettles and brambles. That quickly turned into "let's start a half acre urban farm in Belfast!" Utter madness. And yet, here comes the 12m² greenhouse... www.instagram.com/p/DT8SNyTCsn...
