A short video of the three Glossy Ibis at Deeping Lae yesterday. Sunshine really brings out the best in them. #Lincsbirding
Dreadful BOC shot of the Redstart from Low Habberley this morning. Very unexpected, I was hoping for a Yellow Wag or Wheatear.

Hi Phil, there will be a few of us doing Puxton. Could you add me to the mailing list please?
4 Common Sands at Trimpley res this morning too. Must have been a bit of an influx.
Another short video of the territorial Goldcrest in my garden this morning. I've blocked the view now so that interloper won't reappear. #worcsbirds #birds
My territorial Goldcrest is completely oblivious to me 2 feet away. #worcsbirds #birds
So lucky, I felt so bad for the people who missed it. Could so easily have been us too.
We saw our Harpy in Brazil, a well grown juvenile. Our guide asked what we wanted to do when we arrived late afternoon and I said we'd go to the Harpy site. Fabulous views fo as long as we wanted. Some other birders arrived after dark, but the bird wasn't seen again throughout our stay.
At least 4 first year Little Gulls and 2 Manx Shearwaters with the gull flock off the Bill this morning. #dorsetbirds @dorsetbirdclub.bsky.social @portlandbirdobs.bsky.social
A couple of one of the very obliging Wheatear at Portland Bill this morning and an awful picture of the most surprising bird, a Greylag that landed on the green briefly before heading East. My first here I'm sure. #Dorsetbirds @dorsetbirdclub.bsky.social @portlandbirdobs.bsky.social
7 Purple Sandpipers at Portland Bill this morning and at least 10 Wheatears, some very confiding. #Dporsetbirds
A couple of days a ago a Goldcrest decided to let me take a picture in my garden. #worcsbirds #birds

Superb.
Looks like your having a great trip, are you likely to see the Eagle and did you get any Rhabdornis? We were very temted by the Philippines at one point.
Incredible little birds, seeing such small raptors feels odd somehow.
Stunner, saw ours in Borneo
I used to work in a warehouse with a freezer chamber and I still swear the coldest I've been is on a raw day on the North Norfolc coast.
Great White Egret having a wash and brush up at Grimley this morning. #worcsbirds
A bit of Goldeneye display at Grimley this morning. I think she's impressed.

I couldn't decide, markings look goid but not quite the right shape.
Having missed Stonechat for the previous couple of years on my Puxton patch I was pleased to find a pair on New Years Day. Disappointingly I only saw the male today but he did beg to be photographed.

I forgot to post this at the time, presumed leucistic Canadaa Goose in fields from the end of Oldingtom Lane, Kidderminster on 3rd Jan. Apologies for quality but it was a long way and almost dark. I'd be interested to hear others thoughts on it.

You must have my share. I haven't seen more than 60 I my walks around Kidderminster areas.
Ebird is the app I use. It didn't seem to flag which surprised me a bit.
That's fabulous.
