Chonks, the stray cat sitting in the open window waiting until he felt it was safe to sneak into the kitchen to eat. Once I knew he was coming in, there was always an open window for him to come in to eat and to get out of the bad weather when needed

This was Chonks after he came back from the vet after his fight, he was covered in deep bite wounds. Even being in so much pain he was a sweet fella, he never tried to bite or even growl at me or the vet

This is Chonks, he use to be the neighbourhood stray that would sneak in our house at night to eat. After about 4 years of earning his trust he felt safe enough to come hide out after he had been in a bad fight. He is the sweetest cat, love that he decided to live with us

The herring run is a sure sign that spring has come to #vancouverisland. The #herringroe attach to the seaweed and become exposed at low tide. They look beautiful in the evening light... we really do live in an amazing place.
