Carney names advisory committee on Canada-U.S. economic relations as CUSMA review nears | CBC News Prime Minister Mark Carney has released the names of his new advisory committee on Canada-U.S. economic relations.

CUSMA advisors:

I have to say this is an impressive group, with very strong labour, business and political representation.

Good luck! Focus on wiggling toes while the needle is lined up, it helps 🀣. Then enjoy your espresso grande.

A good way to be for sure.

I had a therapy appointment yesterday that must have been helpful because I slept 8 hours straight with very little wrestling with snakes or fighting zombies. Haven't done that in awhile.

Yep. Black coffee. No mocha grande pumpkin spiced double cupped espresso latte energy drink. Just black coffee, and maybe eye contact.

Hunh?! 🌊 Waves also create wind. Waves are created by fish all turning in the same direction. 🐟

And that post was typed in to be Gerry and Gary, but autocorrect strikes again!

Good morning Gary and Rasta and everyone who is up and around

Thanks for this. It's fun. Right now though, my urge to create outstrips our ability to consume it. :)

I'm starting to get the hang of this πŸ˜‹ @867gerry.bsky.social
* Made a sponge mixture with whole wheat flour, yeast and scalded milk the night before.
* Included egg and a first try at rosemary infused oil.
* Terrific rise and crumb and tastes awesome.
Happy baker today.

Good morning @rastasack.bsky.social , I waited until I had a chance to listen to her for a stretch before responding...
a) You have a great ear, she's terrific!
b) She also has excellent backup musicians and style
c) I can see why you drove 1600k to see her 🎡.

Good Sunday morning Gerry 🌞!

Today is another bread baking-experiment day. Everything was premeasured and readied last night, so it will be awesome, or meh!, or compost. All good regardless.

Have a good one!

Overtime I've developed the belief that, barring a freak rogue wave-type occurence, the number of serious workplace accidents should, and can be, be zero.

It was 'my' barge, with 'my' Captain, and I was the person he called at 4am when it happened.

Afterward I was determined nothing like it would happen in a company I worked for again. And I sat on/chaired safety committees pretty much since until semi-retirement. /3

Ah! I'm familiar with your organization, nice. Back in the late 90s an 80' steel harvest barge I managed (11 months/yr) was involved in a terrible workplace fatality. The barge was leased out for the month doing a different job so I wasn't considered responsible, but I never really got past it. /2

I think, and hope, that you could. The U.S has had Catholic and a Black president and Jewish isn't really a bigger stretch. The times are the times, sadly, but still wouldn't rule it out

Also great to see fishermen and trainers like you being proactive about safety training! I was involved in seafood on the quality side my whole career. When it came to health and safety on boats, the good old days definitely were not good.

It sure is. I lived & worked at the fish hatchery about 8km from St. Peter's when I was a younger man. Great people! I was snowed in Christmas day one year, very much alone.. then a snowmobile unexpectedly pulled up from town bearing a warm Christmas dinner. Made my day.

Watching a pair of song sparrows gathering straw for a nest in my boxwood shrub. Absolutely delightful

Good morning Gerry. It feels like Bluesky is back to being stable? They said it was a denial of service attack... so a bunch of meanies being mean. I can't decide if those flowers are jumping jacks or just pansies, but they're nice

Yet to be officially announced, the new arch will feature a drive thru window and full service McDonald's.
