Sure to LC brain fog I have started but not finished several books. This one I finished and recommend. An imaginative, poignant, and uplifting look at Hillary’s life if she never married Bill. Unfortunately for me, her relationship with Bill reminded me of my first marriage.

As a Jew, I was very uncomfortable with the antisemitism being displayed in many of, what I considered pro-Hamas as opposed to pro-Palestinian, protests. That said. WTF? Detaining, potentially expelling, a legal permanent resident for utilizing first amendment rights is unconcionable.

This is so wonderful. And very funny too. I only knew Mollie Panter-Downes‘ One Fine Day which I loved. This is different in tone but so well observed.

The last 3 books I’ve read and another Val McDermid Darker Domain (forgot to take a photo before putting in the little free library across the street). As you can see this is the reading of somebody with brain fog. I didn’t have to think too hard especially with One Day. #longcovid

Mostly, it’s sad. President of the US and still needs constant affirmation. Sadder still that so many people don’t understand that and support him. Of course, all our allies and adversaries see it.

I’ve been reading a few headlines and 1st paragraphs in papers that sound as if the reporters have drunk the KoolAid. But as you continue to read the story does moves on to the truth. Wondering if it’s a form of resistance knowing that t acolytes won’t read beyond that 1st paragraph
