Everything worked out surprisingly well, though Paloma's Data Disk screen required a bit of editing to work within the #Gameboy's tile and color limitations.

I saw this nerd by @srkah.bsky.social and I couldn't help but give her an appropriately nerdy hobby!

...I actually wanted to make her play Cosmo Command, but belatedly realized that A) the Game Boy Color hides half the cartridge when inserted and B) it was really tiny. We can pretend, right?

The rust seems so right.

My little April Fool's joke made me think about visual novels on the #GameBoy again, and I remembered I hadn't shown off this trio in their entirety. From a hypothetical detective / barista sim, because that's totally a combination of genres that needs to happen!

After much consideration, I have decided space shooter wasn't the right genre for Cosmo Command. I will be changing the name to Doki Doki Cosmo Love Story to better fit its new direction: Visual Novel Date Sim!

Look forward to its release April 1st, 2027!

They were coyote in name only, you could say — just what I defaulted to in my mind while dreaming. It's more like the first one was probably a black spotted felid that morphed into something more dog-like, and then the next one that showed up was dog-like from the start.
