Very nice. What make is it?

How about small gardens and such for the houses? Friend of mine did small animal pens with Renedra fences and herb gardens for his DA village, all connected by woodwn planks as walkway. Very pretty, but unfortunately I don't have any pics π
That's fair enough. I did read it as Puma instantly, but that doesn't mean it must have been the inspiration. On second look you might actually be closer, like @tim-popelier.com with the M3 parallel. I can't help but think though that these parallels weren't needed in that setting. That's me though
I don't think it's dog whistling. GW represents a lot of what I don't like in the hobby, but they're certainly no closet-fascists. But I also don't think that any historical inspiration in 40k draws people into exploring historical wargaming.
Kind of. Together with the 40k Puma I think it will especially cater to a certain clientele within the 40k fandom
You're probably right. My point still stands though.
I mean... SciFi is not really my thing but I kinda like them. But I can see a lot of Wehraboos sticking Balkenkreuze on them and painting their Krieg black with red armbands π
Ah... a Sdkfz 234/40k and a Sdkfz 251/40k
interestimg choice
After two days of this Iβd totally bin the lot and swear never to touch a brush again π
It looks bloomin' awesome, so I'd say yes, it was well worth it. Especially as I didn't have to do it π
Guys, you could do worse than give @justadpaints.bsky.social a follow, especially if you're into nicely painted miniatures. Just sayin'
Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated.
As for the Sten, I'd let him grab it a little further down. When considering how one would hold such a thing in one hand in real life, always think about the center of gravity. Roughly the middle would be the most ergonomical position to hold it.
That's some first class painting right there! Love the Resistance chaps, but the doggos and their handlers came out great as well!
I hope you don't mind a minor point I have regarding the leftmost miniature on the first pic. The way he's holding his Sten seems a little awkward to me.
Wonderful stuff John! Love your attention to details like the tools box. Too bad you canβt bring it to ClogLard.

Lots of progress this weekend on my CoC game for Historicon. All buildings from Total Battle Miniatures. First up, a garage. #spreadthelard
Awesome! Love the bog roll π
This looks so awesome ππ»
Well, Iβm sick of terrain building ALL of the time π
Human artists, use only one piece to persuade people to follow you.
I donβt consider myself an artist, rather a craftsman, but that doesnβt mean I couldnβt knock out a cool figure or two π
Well, at least you donβt look stupid by default π
While your at it I could send you some of my stuff as well?
Jur, you look like youβre trying not to breath in too hard π
Since Bluesky doesn't yet support polls, here's a quick link to a Strawpoll where the question is simple: What is the greatest of the GW Specialist Games that hasn't yet had a refresh?
Not which should or should not, just which of them was the best or that you miss most?

My poor wallet
Always flummoxed by the amount of twittery in the hobby-sphere. I mean it's not like choice is something bad, right? And as you rightly pointed out, there's at least one faction in the GW franchise, that's got more than enough choice already
3D printed Sherman Firefly from Avernes Miniatures with AB tank commander and stowage. Shot in front of a HandiWorks Backdrop. Decals are 28mm Rubicon and work surprisingly well.

Well, that's exactly how it is, right? I mean those pointy sticks are just for showing off.. or so they say.
Thank you Daniel... both times π
That's the issue with being self employed. You need to save some of that loot for retirement
