Robin came home this morning. It’s still unreal that she has been gone for a week.

Robin passed away last night sometime between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. She was 13 years old. She passed in her bed and wasn’t alone. She will be missed.

Robin had some dental work done yesterday. She hasn’t recovered yet. Just sleeping. Also pretty sure she hasn’t seen the fifth dimension. She has food and water next to her.

That makes sense.

Kind of glad I make the choice to work from home on Wednesday since it looks like a Super Bowl parade in the our future in Seattle.

Today was very much a one foot in and the other foot out sort of situation at work today. I’m finally on PTO until Monday. I’m looking forward to warmer weather in Anaheim.

I was watching the score and those last 2 mins were agony just trying to gage the score. Then eventually the fireworks started. But man it was a close game.

My dog finally has a friend. It’s a white little dog. I took Robin out for her morning bathroom time, when she saw the dog. She got really excited and demanded we follow, so we did and her tail was wagging. Usually Robin cowers in fear.

I was feeling very down this week for various reasons. I’m glad I have Robin. Robin makes most days tolerable.

I think my favorite Holiday song is Grandma got run over by a reindeer by Dr. Elmo. It has the perfect mix of Holiday magic and manslaughter.

Things I have learned this week, all things considered, I did great building summer camp. Also soccer is not spelt Soccar and for Multi-Sport I spelled it in various way.

Today during a meeting to make a point, I told my supervisor that programs are like banana splits, with the programs being all the topping and the banana being standardization. I think I really just wanted a banana split.

My August PTO got approved so I bought my airfare at lunch. Going to Burbank, well Pasadena. So far in 2026 I’ll be in California 6 different times. From late January to May I have a trip each month.
