This is so bad it’s almost laughable but racism in medicine is still very real, and leads to worse outcomes and more death & disease.

America is diverse. How can you claim to want to make America healthy when you think other races and ethnicities should only be able to receive disparate healthcare?

I will never forget a visit to Dachau with my (then) teenage daughters.
The words on the memorial wall were not " #NeverForget " - that wouldn't be enough.

On this Holocaust Memorial Day, perhaps more than any in the last 80 years, the words #NeverForget ring hollow as they fall from the mealy mouths of our leaders.

We have forgotten & are all complicit if the crimes of the past unfold as we stand idle.

Let us make "Never Forget" mean something again

The right to free speech means that an individual is allowed to express their ideas without threat of persecution from a government.

It is NOT the right to merely be offensive.

It is NOT the right to present lies as facts.

It is NOT the right to be free of consequence.

Certainly can be.
But often feels that there aren’t any alternatives.
I wonder if the evidence takes account of patients getting “stranded” in hospitals for a long time?
Would the harm be reduced if we could get them out of hospital as soon as acute treatment done?
