We went back to the same forest preserve yesterday. We walked on the west side and it is heavily wooded. The east side was all prairie.

This weekend we went to Cook County’s oldest forest preserve. We saw lots of birds, 3 deer and a coyote.

My neighbor told us about a great horned owl nest nearby. One is already out of the nest!

Yesterday my virtual knitting group met in lookout person at the Oak Park library. We forgot to take pictures of course!

However I got pictures of a display about bird collisions. Over 1 billion birds are killed in the US! I learned some ways that I can help prevent them from happening.
