Left: Captain Victor Glover of the Artemis II crew, who returned to Earth on April 8, 2026. Right: Dr. Josephine Allen, co-author of “A cohort intervention to boost space health grant funding success for researchers from historically minoritized groups: 2022–2023” published in NPJ Microgravity, April 7, 2026.
Captain Victor Glover, yes you did that! 🚀 🙌🏾 And in the same week Dr. Josephine Allen and colleagues dropped this fire article in NPJ Microgravity on supporting inclusive space travel biomedical research!!! 🤩 www.nature.com/articles/s41...
Oh oh here she comes! ~Hall and Oates

For me it was the “Wassup wassup” Bankhead bounce (D-Roc), and Come on and Ride it (Quad City DJ’s).
It is. The one defining feature other than being physically attracted to males is being perpetually disappointed.
That is one saucy pig. Sitting there like it knows exactly what it’s doing. The “come hither” eyes, little smirk, just daring you to order another round and make questionable decisions. You know what? I trust it.
Celebrating my 49th trip around the sun with a tequila cocktail and a fried chicken dinner at the best Peruvian spot in Atlanta, Las Brasas! 🥳🎂
My roots. My people. Clarksdale Mississippi culture and heritage represent!!!
K-pop Demon Hunters was awesome! Amazing animation art. I loved it!
Let’s start a new trend: grant apps-maxxing. I kind of feel like I’ve already started it.
Werewolves 🤷🏾♀️? And this is why I am not a writer or director 😆
I just learned about a spay and neuter organization in Georgia called “Planned PEThood.” 🤭 pethoodga.org
Steve Inskeep @npr.org really put Sen. Ron Johnson to task this morning. I loved it. How are you going to back Trump’s war decision 100% but then call Obama’s Syria strike unconstitutional? And as you’d expect Ron circled around the drain with “but Trump … American security … Trump.” #iran
A “universal” impact score for published scholarly work.
A riddle for Prof. Allyson Friedman: what two things do these neurobiologists have in common: Farah Lubin, Antentor Hinton, and Andre Fenton? They’re Black and they each have an h-index higher than yours. abcnews.com/amp/US/hunte...
Hope, realized.
For any of this to work we need broad, effective protection from emotional manipulation. Predators are very good at pulling levers to escape the bounds of a democracy.
Spotted Anthony Mackey at a cigar bar in Atlanta. Like a total dork I offered to buy him a drink. He said no thanks because he was already blitzed but bought me and everyone else a round. He started talking to me about purchasing homes in opportunity zones. He’s cool people!
Had a BBQ lunch with Cornel West in Phoenix, AZ.
Kick them off the bed, and throw them at the walls while screaming in rage at all the crap I had to deal with that day. Then in the morning neatly place them back so that I can pretend to not be a psycho. lol
I. AM. SOMEBODY. ✊🏽

Trumpism aside, the chemical-resistance approach for genetic engineering of crop plants is just a stupid idea in so many ways. I’ve thought this for 25 years (since grad school).
“I am somebody!” felt like a corny catchphrase when I was young and relatively safe, but now … as an adult with the boots of gatekeepers on my neck as I out-think and over-qualify many of them, learning that meritocracy is mostly a notion, this phrase is a necessity for sanity.
Making elections more secure isn’t the point. Placing elections under federal control is the point. If this gets passed it opens the door to federally dispatched ICE agents showing up at polling places to collect “disputed” ballots.
MAHA’s whole schtick is intellectual laziness.
🎯 😂
That MAHA Super Bowl ad was so damn dumb.
I am so jealous 😫
Curling is so odd (to me), and earnest at the same time. I’m kind of fascinated by it.
