If none of those take your fancy, there are plenty of other games to choose from across the non-league pyramid, as well as down in the Leicestershire Senior League.
Here’s your pick of games from Step 3-6 for tomorrow.
Happy #NonLeagueDay, wherever you go!

In the same league, Shepshed Dynamo are also still within a chance of making the play-offs.
They’re also on course to beat the club’s record points tally at Step 4, which was 63 back in the 98/99 Southern League season.
Nomads will be hoping that Loughborough Students can do them a favour, as they take on top of the table Carlton tomorrow.
The Scholars themselves are in a relegation battle fighting to stay at Step 4.

At Step 4 and aiming for promotion is Anstey Nomads, managed by former City goalkeeper Conrad Logan.
They moved to within 5 points of the league leaders Carlton by beating them 6-0 (!) midweek, as they aim for top spot having suffered play-off heartbreak in the past two seasons.
At the bottom of the league, Barwell are fighting for their lives as they look to avoid relegation from Step 3, where they’ve been since the 2011/12 season.
This weekend’s game is the first since manager Jimmy Ginnelly stepped down yesterday.

And in fact, we could actually have two clubs playing at Step 2 next season with Quorn still in the play off positions.
Incredibly, they’re aiming for back to back promotions and a third in four seasons, having been down at Step 5 as recently as 22/23!

If Harborough Town get promoted this season, they’ll be the first Leicestershire club at Step 2 of Non-League since 2013 (Hinckley United).
If City are relegated to League One, there will be just 3 promotions between the two clubs. In 2021/22, there were EIGHT.

Ahead of #NonLeagueDay tomorrow, here’s a little round up of what some of our local Leicestershire clubs have to play for this weekend and for the rest of the season.
There is plenty going on and well worth seeking out a game on Saturday!

I will also use his win to shamelessly plug my Films of 2025 blog where I talked up his incredible performance!

There were some great picks tonight, but Robert Aramayo winning Leading Actor for I Swear is one of the best choices ever. And his Dad’s reaction was just a beautiful moment of telly!
Hopefully everybody now goes to watch I Swear as it’s a wonderful film.

Today was me mamma’s funeral, which was obviously a sad day but also a lovely celebration of everything that made her so amazing. Loved talking about old times, including her occasional cameos on the radio when she inevitably stole the show like this ❤️⬇️

Why does the poster for the new Wuthering Heights film have the title in quote marks? Implying it’s not actually Wuthering Heights, but a film just claiming to be. Are we meant to do the ironic air quote fingers when we say ‘I’m going to see “Wuthering Heights”’, like it’s not true? I need answers.
We’re barely into January and there’s a very good chance I’ve already seen the best film that’ll be released in the UK in 2026.
Hamnet is a masterpiece. I’ve put some thoughts about it together here 👇

Leicestershire’s own Posy Sterling is nominated for the BAFTA Rising Star award. That comes after winning the BIFA for Breakthrough Performance.
I wrote about her incredible performance in Lollipop in my Films of 2025 blog 👇

The annual trip to the club shop is starting to get more and more expensive, but if the nephew is being forced into a life of being a Leicester fan, it’s only fair that the niece is too! 🦊
For one final time…
Heard rumours that Leicester’s Nigerian midfielder was going to complete a move to Besiktas.
Ndidi?
Yes, he did… 😢

Today is 10 years since I left my old office job to have a go at a radio career, having been offered just 6 freelance shifts initially. Turns out it was the best decision I’ve ever made and now I’ve got my literal dream job that I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid. I feel very lucky.
Based on what I’ve seen on the telly, the Scissor Sisters have put on the best show at Glastonbury this year by an absolute mile.

I’m on an hour delay watching the 1975 at Glastonbury. In real time, has Matty Healy finished that pint of Guinness yet? It’s not gone down in three songs so far from what I’m watching.

Had such a laugh talking films with Damon, so much so that he’s had to split it into two episodes.
Give part 1 a listen now, and check out the back catalogue too as it’s a brilliant pod 👇
Just before 8am, which is the time I predicted he would!
Ready to go for the #Oscars 🍿🥂
I don’t disagree that it’s shameless self-promotion, like any awards are. There’s also industry politics at play, which is why I like to focus on the work itself, particularly those films overlooked. I agree, it should be about the art. But I’m no part of the machine, just someone with an interest.
I’m intrigued, what do you mean by that?

The #Oscars2025 are on Sunday! I'm excited, especially since there are some very interesting nominations this year.
But The Academy did overlook some absolute gems.
I've written a bit on what they may have missed ⬇️

At the Phoenix in Leicester tonight to see one of my favourite films, Donnie Darko, on the big screen for the first time. I cannot wait!
Part of DMU’s Cine-Misfits film festival and chosen by their film studies students, so big up to them. Such a cool course.
