I managed to land 12s both times on Big Foot and also the tiny 12 ring of the dragon. Super stoked to hit a 40+ yard raccoon shot through a branch! The shot reminds me a lot of shooting at the little green army men at TACO Wednesdays.

I went for a jog in the gorgeous weather today, and took a tumble in a rocky area. Luckily, I was still able to shoot well over a hundred arrows today and felt strong finishing all of my shots! I’ll be sore tomorrow, for sure, from both the fall and practicing.

The Kiddo and I went to our first Stick & Sage. It was her first time tent camping and first time shooting with me outdoors. I can’t say she loved it, but she said she wants to do it again next year, so that’s a win! A big thanks to the TACO crew for putting on a great event!

On Saturday, I defended my uncontested title at the Oregon State USAA tournament. It was very cross-windy! It was wild to see my arrows fly sideways. I was happy to have ends where all my arrows scored. I was also happy to have a new bale-buddy who was only months into shooting an Olympic Recurve!
