No "A" or "B" for effort, but a "C" for effort is ok.

Gene expression from the pLS20 conjugative plasmid is controlled by a mechanosensing signal transduction pathway responsive to flagella rotation, a strategy that may allow dissemination of the plasmid to remote destinations and infiltration of new niches.

Aurodox is a Streptomyces metabolite (linear polyketide) that interferes with Gram-negative bacterial infections of host cells. Roe et al. show Aurodox could work by reducing transcription across phylogenetically distinct Type Three Secretion Systems in E. coli, Salmonella, Yersinia and Vibrio spp.

I am taking care of our neighbor's cat for the holiday. Their door lock has been hard to open and wouldn't budge this morning. I remembered our mechanical engineer daughter's rules:

If it is moving and is not supposed to: Duct tape
If is supposed to move and isn't: WD40

Problem solved: Cat fed.
