So I had this scenario stuck in my head for a while and I had to let it out somewhere 😂😂

In the end, after some arrangements, the song is released.

Finally, their first collab (first of many), and the main song of the long-awaited charity album, which becomes a hit in a matter of days.

...

As soon as the song is over, another email shows up.
This one reads only one sentence: "Not good enough yet; she needs you."

Viktor can't help but get emotional. He cries as he plays it again and again.

After a while, he decides to reply to Jayce, this time by text message: "Let's do it."+

The sender is unknown, but he plays the audio anyway.

A bass starts, then some fiddles, and then...He can't believe his ears when he recognizes his mom's voice, singing in time.

The next thing he notices is a male voice harmonising in the background. Jayce's voice+

The charity album project is put on hold publicly while Jayce, fairly discouraged, finishes his album.

He tries to contact Viktor to apologize and explain himself, but there's no response.

Months go by and Viktor keeps working on his own, until one day he gets an email with an audio attached+

After some legal ploys (hidden in small print), Noxus persuades Jayce to sign the contract with them, to the highest bidder.

Of course, Viktor finds out about this and decides quit the project, feeling betrayed.

Jayce regrets his decision immediately, but the contract is already signed+

Viktor tells Jayce that his mom loved to sing, but like him, she also struggled with her health, and when she wanted to release her own album, it was already too late. That CD is the only thing he had left of her.

In the meantime, Noxus Sound, a big producer, has a tempting offer for Jayce+

One day, both get in contact to make a collab for a charity album. They become close pretty quick.

During the process, Jayce finds out about a couple of samples from an old CD; these samples are opera fragments sung by an amateur soprano.

Turns out that she was Viktor's mom+

Eventually, Jayce becomes a popular artist and gets to hold a few concerts. He's a well-known celebrity by now.

On the other hand, Viktor remains anonymous under an alias. He is quite popular on the internet and some of his melodies have gone viral, but so far no one knows his real identity+
