💡We’re very good at talking about #interprofessional care.
💡We’re much less good at proving our #education actually delivers it.

So maybe the real question is:

👉 Do we actually want to measure impact or are we comfortable measuring things that look good on paper?

The uncomfortable bits:

☑️ Real #impact = #behaviour change in practice
☑️ #Patient centered” is easy to say, hard to measure
☑️ If it’s not case-based and real-world, it’s mostly noise

In our #Delphi study, we asked clinicians, researchers, and patients across Europe:

👉 What would real evaluation look like?

Answer: not what we’re currently doing.

#Cancer #care is the ultimate team sport.

So why are we still so bad at teaching and measuring interprofessional #teamwork? 🧵

Honest answer?

Because we keep #measuring the wrong things.

Satisfaction ≠ impact.
Liking a course ≠ changing practice.

📣 Take-home message:
If we’re serious about autonomy and equity, ACP must be accessible and routine — with training, adapted communication tools & organisational backing.

There is an *association* between eating chips regularly and developing diabetes. The authors acknowledge their study design cannot demonstrate causality. Shall we stop doing food frequency survey research and instead study how to address obesogenic environments?

🩺 Results showed low #infection rates, but higher in the #fosfomycin group. Suggestions are that fosfomycin ought to be used carefully and transitions to transperitoneal biopsies may even further reduce overall infection rates and support #antibiotic #stewardship in the era of rampaging #AMR.

➡️ After analysing a retrospective cohort of 913 patients we took a look at the rates of #UTIs with a 30 day follow-up.
