KXYD 5201 comic edited to be about welsh language music. Expert 1 says: Welsh-language music is second nature to us Welsh speakers / learners, so it's easy to forget that the average person only knows Gwenno or Welsh Whisperer. Expert 2 says: And Bwncath, of course. Expert 1 days: Of course. The bottom text reads: Even when they're trying to compensate for it, experts in anything wildly overstimate the average person's familiarity with their field.

Manga cover of She Loves to Cook and She Loves to Eat with two women on the front, one thinner with a pancake in a pan, the other bulkier with a stack of pancakes and two mugs.
She Loves to Cook and She Loves to Eat is everything to me. A beautiful story of women's relationships with food and cooking and expression and comfort. Its so grounded and sensitive and feels so real. I'm also in love with how toothy the eating scenes are drawn

Illustration of the old Cardiff Borough Arms. A yellow crest with three red chevrons. It has a crown above it and a scroll with text, "Villa Cardiff".
Cardiff is celebrating 70 years as the capital of Wales in 2025.
I've been collecting examples of the old Borough Arms in my "Villa Cardiff" series.

These historic arms can be found all over Cardiff. Can you think of any examples?

SUPER helpful solution to those dragon-pig shapeshifters that plague my land
Listen. "I turned my childhood friend (♂) into a girl" sounds like it might be bad right? Wrong. This is an incredibly sweet BL but CRUCIALLY it really beautifully handles being GNC, gender exploration, navigating queer identity, coming-of-age into queer identities, and even aro/ace identity!
Manga gover of Hanamonogatari. A mature woman with parted hair and a red shirt sits in front of a table covered in makeup supplies. Behind her, to the left, is another woman with blonde hair wearing green jewellery who is doing the first woman's makeup. The japanese title is written down theright.
I need to gush about this super underrated manga! Hanamonogatari is about a mature women finding new love, bonding over makeup and food and everday joys. The protagonist is a widow who is finding ways to grow and change and be happy in her retirement and how to handle pressures from her family.
Also! New vlog up! I was at #RenaissanceFaireUK this month having a blast!!

One piece of good news yesterday was my comp copies finally arrived from the States for Young Men in Love: New Romance, so I’ve finally seen how it turned out :)
Thanks to @awaveblueworld.com for putting it together and sending it out. Very happy with it :)
The cover of They Are Still Here (Mae Nhw Yma O Hyd). The image is of the sorceror, Gwydion, surrounded by wild animals (wolf, boar, deer) in a Celtic knotwork frame. Gwydion's hat is crowned with antlers. He carries an axe in his right hand and an oak twig in his left. Art by Josh Arklin.
Our lastest anthology project will be launched on Kickstarter in October. Find out more about it here: www.kickstarter.com/...

The Confessions of Dorian Gray had me completely obsessed from start to finish - I've never been so desperate to have longer commutes just so I could listen to more.

The moment I saw that "trans bra" M & S story I sensed it was nonsense.
Seconds later, having read the Telegraph piece I knew it was worse than that. It was deliberate hate mongering completely devoid of evidence, names and facts.
Superb job of debunking it here
