I was looking for a way to allow students from lower-income families to take part in my after-school club classes for a symbolic fee. I couldn’t think of a better opportunity than involving them in a fundraising workshop, where they made chocolate puzzles for sale to support children facing cancer.

I am very grateful to the headteachers and school staff for supporting this initiative and helping facilitate the sales on their premises. I would also like to thank my talented students, who created these puzzles with great care and enthusiasm.

Finally, a huge thank you goes to parents for their generosity and donations. Here are some photos of my students’ wonderful work; we also created our campaign logo!

A new drug for improving the experience of patients receiving treatment for pancreatic cancer has now entered a clinical trial.

Doctors hope the drug, known as VP-002, will allow for lower doses of chemotherapy, reducing its side effects and improving patient experience.

It’s something I am also struggling to understand….It’s more a publishing recipe! I feel so sorry for the ones who are following this working style, whether it’s voluntary, automatic or unwilling. They are just setting limits on their intellectual abilities!

What is ‘not really happening’ is Science nowadays, an unfortunate truth….Scientists are trapped in the metrics of performance/success.
If you want your goal to be a discovery and not a product, then you need first to discover ‘how to make it??’
