Pints or years? Either is a great thing. If it’s the later Happy Birthday 🥳

I’d love it if either of mine would even paddle but they just don’t, you’re lucky to have had a dog who got joy from the water.

Picture shows a small lake surrounded by trees. Ripples from the breeze show on the dark blue water. Above to the left a tree coming into leaf hangs over the water. On the far side of the water trees and shrubs of different heights and many shades of green frame the water. The sky is blue with one white, fluffy cloud in view.

As a child I used to go to a friend’s for tea and they often had tripe and onions. It was disgusting. I’m glad as an adult I never have to consider it as a meal option ever again

I’m expecting the dog will see a good digging opportunity where I’ve turned the soil so who knows what will actually appear 😂

Good morning. It’s a bright start here and the birds are very noisy. Today I’m going to plant some wild flower seeds & hope the beagle doesn’t decide to dig them all up (she has form). Tea is cooling to a good temperature.

I misread this as snogs and then was confused that you found them in the freezer … I really should wake up properly before trying to read. Hope the snossiges were delicious

A small blonde haired child sits on the knee of his Dad with a furrowed brow, his blue eyes full of fury. His jaw is rigid and his little hands are balled in tight fists.

He’s wearing a blue quilted jacket with a white furry collar, his joggers have appliqué yellow diggers

In the foreground a gravel path with a sculpture of a riding saddle behind the sculpture a swathe of purple, pink and white tulips pop in a green background. The not yet dressed in leaves tree contrasts with a blue sky. A small wispy cloud and the trail from a plane flying over

What better way to spend a Sunday morning than cleaning out your shed and then doing a tip run. #SmallPleasures

Two kangaroos a smaller one standing looking alert the other larger one is reclining on a grassy slope. Its back legs are stretched out and the front curled in towards its body, it’s looking into the distance.

I’m a dinosaur, I learnt to type on a manual typewriter 😂🦕

That’s always a real joy. Many, many years ago I typed a dissertation for someone on an electric typewriter and it was all about Schiaparelli - I’m not sure how many times it took for me to spell the name correctly, but it was a lot!

This is on my list to visit in the next few months. Glad to hear that it will be well worth the trip (most V&A exhibitions are generally excellent).
