I'll put it this way: DMC 5 came out in 2019, and ever since, I wanted a similar game that I could love even half as much (FF 16 came close, but I have a few gripes) It's too early to tell, but NG 4 is dangerously close to being just as good for me

Shurikens maintain wall-splat values, letting you get cute with combos in some funny ways.
