This is another @cashmerette Irving dress. Black knit bodice and silk chiffon skirt. I styled it with a cropped cardigan.

Here a dress I made for a refashioning sewing challenge. I used lots of different denims. First, I removed the pockets of the back of denim pants to make the bodice. I wanted to use the dark blue as a feature. I used the skirt from a denim dress I made last year.

One more brocade dress and coat before spring arrives. I had this fabric in my stash for about 5 years and I’m glad I sewed it up. I need some joy in these crazy times. It’s See and Sew 5712 coat and Vogue 8146.

I made this wool jacket last year, but the color doesn’t suit me. I fussy cut the up cycled lace for the bodice and I’m working on the sleeves. I’m hand stitching it to get the layout correct.

Here’s my self drafted animal print dress. It’s made from several different fabrics scraps. It’s a summer dress that I styled with a lace tee shirt, long thrifted cardigan and animal print scarf to wear in the 70 degree weather we’re having.

Thank you, I’ll have plenty! I used to crochet a long time ago and just started knitting a few weeks ago.

I’ve finished a Sophie scarf and have started a sweater. (I’m waiting for more purple yarn & am casting on a new cardigan as I wait 🫣)

Scrap busting polka dot dress. I used three different polka dot fabrics to make this Butterick 6319 dress. I had to take a picture when we were on our walk today and I saw this orange bench. It really pops with my orange jacket and purse. #garmentsewing
