Her expertise in interfaith dialogue and decoloniality, and her experience with the Practical Theology Hub would bring much insight to us over the next few years. There are more announcements to be made for our editorial team in the upcoming issues, but that is it for now.

I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Dr Patricia Tsai (Methodist University of Brazil/St Andrews) as our Associate Editor.
I particularly like this quote from Rheinbolt-Uribe and Freeks: “[marginalisation] is not merely an academic oversight; it is a theological blindness that prevents us from perceiving a fundamental way God is at work in the world.”
The first 2026 issue of @practicaltheology.bsky.social has landed! Thankful for continuing to attract scholars from around the world to assist us in pondering difficult issues in various contexts, challenging the abuse of power, and advancing the field of practical theology.

Thank you. I did write it in a way that can assist the readers to make it translatable to other contexts.
Thanks again to the Society for the Study of Christian Ethics for the invite; thanks to my reviewers for the trust in letting me publish directly, without a single correction; thanks to the @UniOfStAndrews.bsky.social for making this #OpenAccess.

It's only important if it makes a profit is now the mantra of university leaders up and down the country. Look out for these petitions from Nottingham and other places, including my old employer Leicester, who are also slashing and burning right now.
Cutting courses in architecture, maths, public health (5 years out from a global pandemic!), modern languages, and theology among many others. The United Kingdom is allowing vandals to destroy one of their few remaining world class sectors over relatively paltry sums of money.
My former employer, @uniofnottingham.bsky.social, will be the first Russell Group university to cut #Theology degrees from next year onwards: thetab.com/2025/11/06/r...
