A broad, still expanse of water fills the foreground, so clear that the lakebed—small rounded stones in muted grays and browns—shows through beneath a thin veil of reflected sky. The surface is nearly motionless, acting as a mirror for the dawn above.

At the horizon, the lake narrows into a distant valley framed by layered mountain ridges. The mountains rise on both sides in dark, cool silhouettes—deep blue to charcoal—softened by early light and atmospheric haze. On the left, a dense forest of conifers forms a continuous, shadowed edge that slopes gently into the water; on the right, the mountain face is steeper, its contours more pronounced but still subdued in the low light.

The sky is the focal point. A scattered field of mid-level clouds stretches across it, each cloud catching the first light of sunrise. Colors transition from pale gold and peach near the horizon to cooler blues and soft grays higher up. The brightest band sits just above the distant valley, where the sun—still hidden—pushes a warm glow outward, illuminating the undersides of the clouds.

This light is duplicated almost perfectly in the lake’s reflection, forming a symmetrical composition: sky above, sky below, divided by a thin, horizontal line of brighter water near the center. The reflection is slightly softened by faint ripples, but remains remarkably crisp.

John Deere to Pay $99 Million in Monumental Right-to-Repair Settlement The ag manufacturing giant will also make digital diagnostic, maintenance, and repair tools available to third parties for 10 years.

I grew up on a farm where we regularly had to fix our own tractors. I also briefly worked for John Deere and watched as they tried to justify why people shouldn't be allowed to do that. Get absolutely fucked Deere, right to repair forever and ever

This dramatic landscape was created concurrently with van Gogh’s first masterpiece, “The Potato Eaters” (in the Van Gogh Museum collection in Amsterdam). The brushstrokes are looser although the deep, earthy colors remain. The darkness here is broken up by the diagonal ditch in the foreground that reflects the brilliant colors of the setting sun and draws the eye towards the horizon. The freely drawn trees provide vertical interest. After moving to Paris in 1886, Vincent rarely used solid blacks in his compositions anymore and his palette lightened considerably.

Decorative metal goose on top of tree stump stabing in deep white snowdrift. Snowflakes shining like diamonds in the bright sunlight.

This...
Objective? Makes students less informed, less curious, less expansive, more bidable and therefore less rebellious?
Methinks all of the above.

Found mostly around Lake Superior, these glowing rocks are known as Yooperlites. They are actually syanite rocks rich in fluorescent sodalite - and were only discovered recently!

A million shades in a single field,
The strength that diverse spirits yield.
Like different blooms in the sun above,
We find our beauty through shared love.

WELL NOW, would you look at that? A massive, 24-YEAR-LONG study of MORE THAN 1.2 MILLION people in Denmark found NO LINK between aluminum in childhood vaccines and autism, asthma, OR chronic disorders.

Aluminum is an ADJUVANT.

It ENHANCES your immune response to a vaccine.

That’s it.

A pilot just flew through one of the strongest aurora storms in years — and saw the sky explode in color. From the cockpit of a Boeing 787, pilot Matt Melnyk had a view like no one else. Flying at 37,000 feet over Manitoba, he watched as the auroras filled the entire sky.

Debunked: Alberta doesn’t send the most money to Ottawa The idea that Alberta has contributed more than any other province is a complete myth. Alberta, as a government, has never contributed to the equalization programme.

This is a good read.
Facts- NOT fan-fiction UCP propaganda and misinformation.
