Here’s some of the senior officials that Starmer has sacked. Just trying to work out what seems to be the problem here.

And if you look towards the US, you can see what happens when a country's leader is all five.
Nothing will be OK until we have a sane person running the world and no good purpose is served pretending otherwise.
Correct me if I’m wrong but North Sea oil and gas a) all goes on international market; b) is a mature basin and c) new fields take a decade plus to come on stream
So why is everyone talking about the North Sea??!?!
Am not an energy analyst but why does seem every interview with a U.K. minister this week included a pointed question about why not drilling more in North Sea and almost none about renewables/net zero as an energy security imperative?
It’s bizarre, frankly
It was designed for buildings that nearly made it and fell at the last hurdle, not for designing buildings that threw the jockey off and galloped to the finish line for a failed victory.

Come and see us at the homebuilding and renovation show at the NEC. Stand G125
That’s fab..!
A rust-coloured metal clad building of an unusual shape - lots of non-orthogonal angles. Apparently meant to be like a ship, but to me it looks a lot like a sandcrawler from Star Wars. No jawas either.
Went for a cuppa with my Dad in the new hotel on Whitehaven harbour at the weekend.
Disappointed that no one tried to sell us any droids.
What the hell kind of origin story were you researching when you came across that golden nugget..?
Incel energy. "We no longer 'need', or desire, girls — WE NEVER DID!"
In term one DHS gave Miller a report showing that the taxes paid by refugees exceed the costs of resettling them by $63 billion. He suppressed it and ordered another one: “The President believes refugees cost more, and the results of this study shouldn’t embarrass the President."

Just fascinating to see Blair, a man whose reputation was ruined by the Iraq war, advocate joining a war that is exponentially stupider and more chaotic. How is it possible to learn nothing from the worst mistake of your life?
Here is a nice short update on my Archicad>PHPP link
If you use Archicad and PHPP let me know what you think - I’m keen to get some feedback on whether anyone else would find it useful.

Christopher who? In May, a party founded eight years ago, with no record in national government and only eight MPs, will fight elections in Wales and Scotland, and for control of councils across England, with every chance of winning many of them. British politics is being reshaped by Reform UK. This is a result of Nigel Farage's personality and of Christopher Harborne's money - £9m, from a fortune amassed largely through cryptocurrency investments. The party would not be able to field candidates, run social media operations or door-to-door campaigns if it weren't for the Harborne war chest. There is a template for crypto-funded campaigning - in the US, where it is viewed as having led to securing crypto-friendly legislation and sweetheart deals to enrich crypto charlatans and undermine transparency and accountability in politics. Reform threatens to destroy the Conservatives as a party of government and divide communities, increasingly along ethnic lines and with overtly racist arguments. It also poses the most serious threat to Keir Starmer's government, Harborne lives in Thailand and owns a 12% stake in the Tether stablecoin. Little else is known about this intensely private man. Yet he can influence the course of politics, seemingly without either much of a business or life in the UK. It's a lot like overseas interference in British democracy. Didn't someone once say: "Take back control"?

*Love* this video from @transparencyuk.bsky.social - what a compelling case for taking big money out of politics.
And who is that devilishly handsome Irish chap talking such sense in Parliament half way through 🤣
So interesting to compare notes between the UK & South Africa
& see how all around the world the same rhetoric of anti-migrant hatred is being spread by the same rich people with the same interests in dividing & ruling over us.

This is absolutely hilarious from #PMQs today.
Ayoub Khan MP says rubbish is "building right beneath my very nose" as he looks down at the Reform MPs sitting below him
"It's becoming a serious problem in Birmingham"
this may be a radical take BUT I think we should proceed cautiously with the rushed integration of half-cooked automation into problematic business sectors in a broadly-corrupt country without functional regulatory oversight
Does he mean a PR firm as in Public Relations… which would be unremarkable, or a PI firm as in private investigators which would not..!
Here is what we've been up to over the last year and a bit!
