I don't!
Only Labour cultists would defend him.
He appointed the crooked mate of a convicted paedophile to suck up to a rapist president.
Please end this 16 yr continuity government with a progressive alliance.
Greens, PC and SNP are ready.

Starmer’s handling of the vetting story has somehow become a bigger problem for Starmer than the vetting story. Extraordinary.
That's how it comes over. I am bemused that Starmer says he wasn't told about the security vetting failure - but he made the appointment BEFORE the vetting was done. So his argument is an irrelevance - just like the man himself.
Would Starmer have cancelled the appointment even if he had been told in confidence that Mandelson had subsequently failed an interim stage in the vetting procedure which had been overridden because the identified risks were already known to No 10 and could be managed? This must be open to doubt.
Here's a question. Would Keir Starmer have appointed Peter Mandelson if he had known of the vetting failure but had also known for sure that the press and public would never find that out?
In a nutshell. 😊
In an independent Scotland maybe all the talk in the run up to an important Parliamentary election would not be about bad decision making in another country.
Keir Starmer can’t allow one vote on rejoining the EU after 10 years but not the other on Scottish Independence 12 years later!

Very pleased to see Kezia Dugdale as chair of Stonewall. She radiates decency, tolerance and understanding and, in my view, those are just the qualities needed to escape from a harmful culture war which I firmly believe most people don't want.
At first glance, but not on closer examination, this reminded me of some of Jack Vettriano's pictures.
Don Brad @gord1brad [Replying to @ScotTories] As an Englishman in England | can only marvel that Scotland, uniquely in the world, is a nation which hosts three foreign political parties which are dedicated entirely to maintaining rule, exploitation, extraction, and domination by a foreign nation which holds Scots in contempt
The Scottish Liberal Democrat manifesto promises to “Oppose independence and a second independence referendum”. Not exactly liberal or democratic.
Ethics in the Trump era: there’s a risk Starmer will fall over appointing a guy with Trumpian ethics only for the UK to elect a guy with Trumpian ethics instead.
Ranvir Singh asks Darren Jones a very simple question. Why did Keir Starmer announce Mandelson was the new ambassador before the security vetting had been completed.
We know why. Because it was a corrupt appointment. But Jones can't very well admit that, can he.
So we're being asked to believe that Starmer announced the appointment of Mandelson before the security vetting had been completed and didn't then enquire about the vetting at any point subsequently, and according to Darren Jones this means due process was followed at all times
An org called "Scotland in Union" (which really stands for Scotland being in a British union rather than a European union) has a tactical voting website which can be used in reverse by those preferring the EU option: vote SNP on the constituency ballot and either SNP or Green on the regional ballot.
"The masters of war pretend not to know that it takes only a moment to destroy, yet a lifetime is often not enough to rebuild. They turn a blind eye to the fact that billions of dollars are spent on killing and devastation, yet the resources needed for healing, education and restoration are nowhere to be found." -Pope Leo XIV
At the root of the Mandelson scandal lies a pathetic desire to suck up to Donald Trump and appoint someone well qualified to do so.
France passed a law requiring solar panels on every parking lot with more than 80 spaces.
Equals 10 nuclear reactors
Reduces heat island, shades cars
The US -- 800 million parking spaces. Most of them are uncovered asphalt sitting in direct sunlight.
Why aren't we doing this?
This is wonderful news. The UK has officially signed up to rejoin the EU’s Erasmus+ scheme from 2027
It means students, apprentices and young people will be able to study and work across Europe 👏
Anas Sarwar didn’t deny this account by Malcolm Offord at the time. It sounds totally plausible and it is backed up by a witness.

Well done. The changes in the legal arguments should be interesting. Producing practical advice more in tune with the letter and spirit of the Equality Act should not be too difficult.
Meanwhile the UK Labour government has wisely encouraged the EHRC to revise its draft guidance on this issue in a more inclusive direction.
Scottish Labour manifesto promises to deliver single-sex spaces on the basis of biological sex “by upholding the Equality Act”. That will be hard. It outlaws them unless they can be justified, which they often can’t be.
Malcolm Offord has claimed Anas Sarwar “bounced up to him” in Paisley Town Hall at the start of the election campaign and said “we need to work together, Reform and Labour, to remove the SNP”. Sarwar hasn't denied the claim. Labour is so right wing it's willing to cooperate with the far right.
And Labour's branch manager in Scotland has the temerity to claim he would make a great First Minister. They play us for fools I'm afraid.
Reagan and Thatcher’s dream of privatising public services to make them more efficient has completely failed.

Okay, who did this? 😂
Whatever the caveats this morning just imagine how awful it would have been if Orbán had won.
