Congrats! I’m a trans guy who’s been doing weekly shots for almost 2 years, and I can tell you it becomes routine fast. It can help to create a little ritual around it: putting on a corny playlist or favourite show, doing nail/skincare, lighting a nice candle, using silly bandages when needed, etc.

Could be. As someone else said there are lots of baby steps you can take, anyway. Binding, packers, haircut/wigs, clothing (including underwear), “Starbucks names,” online alts. Take what makes you feel good, leave the rest. And if it turns out you’re just cis and GNC? Cool, now you know.

It allowed me to repress til I was in my 30s. Once my egg cracked though, I found there was a bunch of subtle dysphoria I’d mistaken for other things. It was really eye opening.

Not saying that’ll be your experience, just that it’s normal. Worth exploring if you aren’t happy as you are.

Would it feel good to approach femininity “as a man”? Not uncommon for NB/trans ppl to want to engage with their AGAB “from the other side.”

And FWIW I started from a very similar place, with v little obvious dysphoria and an overall “meh” attitude to my AGAB. 🧵

We adopted/foster failed Oscar when he was around 17 and got almost exactly 3 years with him. He was a very special old guy.
