2/2 .. but if its for a bit of fun on your local patch and you don't want to miss a bird for the year list, then fine, it's a personal choice that doesn't affect anyone else...possibly. If you've got mates doing the same patch and it gets highly competitive, then it could be open to abuse/cheating

Maybe it depends on the required goal. For a photo competition, I think it's cheating. Being a great photographer shouldn't rely on AI. If everyone uses it and all the results are 110%, then it defeats the object. If it's for identification, then it's a tool..okay, but would BBRC accept AI images?

Is that the new super moth trap in the corner?πŸ˜†

An interesting question. So what happens if a bird flies past and you snap a pic but you get untickable views so it can't be on your list. The pic, meanwhile, is processed, and there is a perfect image of the bird, easily identifiable.Tickable. It will open up a whole new dilemma for some people. πŸ€”πŸ˜

Beautiful video..very noisy, but nice.. it looks like you had a frost or heavy dew... 😁

Beautiful moth. I don't know how you do it without a field guide. It must be very frustrating to catch all these moths and not know what some of them are. Aren't there any good artists who could team up with a moth-er scientist who could at least cover all the families and regularly caught species?

Moth catches still dire with the best catch for 2 weeks last night.. 3sp 5 moths. Roll on warm weather. An interesting by-catch that seems to be quite uncommon was the beetle Oedemera femoralis, a False-blister Beetle, so not all lost. Anyone into beetles can confirm it? #teammoth #beetle #oedemera
