In a world that asks us to harden, choosing kindness is its own kind of rebellion.

Yesssss

Although I'd be quite happy if other "old men" stepped up to save it?

Bernie Sanders is 84, George Takei is 89, even Jamie is 63 ...

Yet they are each doing their part in saving democracy

China could take that action, but I don't believe that they will

At the moment I believe that China is seen to be more "reliable" than the USA ... at least from a Trade perspective.

I think that China will bask in their current "preferred" role and use it to their advantage...

Yes I wasn't trying to minimise the role ...

Just trying to say that I thought that from a bureaucratic perspective it made sense to provide benefits which "at least" matched those working for the Federal (?) Government in other roles

Well I would say that the Policies which had been implemented were supportive of Servicemen and Servicewomen

To my mind service in the USAF is equivalent to service in the US Federal (unsure of the correct term?) government.

So it makes sense to me. It is just service in a specialist role

I know that some people held on ...

I'm sure that a lot of previous Republicans would be horrified to see the Party today ...

However we cannot change the past. We must take action in the present to work towards the future that we desire ..

I would actually expect that more than 50% were like that.

My understanding is that in the past the Republican Party was comprised of "decent" (kind, caring) human beings?

Retired CIA analyst Larry Johnson has revealed that Donald Trump wanted to use nuclear codes during a White House meeting on Saturday night. General Dan Cain, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, stood up and said NO

This is the level of instability in the White House.

Well Trump invading the USA could result in "friendly" fire and result in casualties ...

Perhaps he could enter negotiations with the USA ...

Which would drag on until he was out of office...

Of course this would be an utter waste of taxpayer money ...

A mixture of orange and red Tulips in a glazed blue planter on mossy bricks outside terrace cottages in early morning sun. The background shows other pots, a hosereel near a tap, green leaves on trees, a white-framed window and the red brick wall of the houses.
Camera: iPhone 15 Pro.

More #Tulips for #Parkinson’s Awareness Month and since I don’t have blue ones in my garden (the ones you see advertised are all dyed) I have these in an appropriate planter for #ColourADay #BlueTue
