It is my pleasure. Glad you enjoyed it.

I'll have more in tomorrow's @tucsonagenda.bsky.social, but Nanos put out a statement stating he is still willing to meet with Supervisors individually.
Supervisor Steve Christy motioned to release the report to the public, waiving attorney client privilege but the lone Republican on the board couldn't get a second from his colleagues.
Additionally, the #PimaSupes tabled a discussion to release the 65-page report prepared by NorthStar Employment and
Legal Solutions into Sheriff Nanos to the next meeting.
In a surprise move, the #PimaSupes is not commenting publicly on the answers given by Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos to their questions related to his
work history, management of the PCSD including but
not limited to personnel and financial issues, and interaction w/ federal immigration officials.
We're back.
More likely an oversight.
Hard to say. I think that this isn’t a typical year and most offices are busy with other priorities.
The Pima County Board of Supervisors vote to go into executive session.
They said they will be back in an hour.
I'll be back in an hour.
The #PimaSupes vote 4 to 1 (with Christy dissenting) to refer the expenditure limit to November ballot.
I'll add that if voters reject the expenditure limit, it is my expectation that the #PimaSupes will refer it voters again next year.
This is pretty similar to the national debt ceiling, it isn't an effective way to curb county spending long-term.
The proposed expenditure limit is a sizable increase, but officials tell the #PimaSupes that they wouldn't have to go back to the voters for 20 years (if it passes in November.)
Pima County Administrator Jan Lesher says changing the expenditure limit doesn't raise taxes, just allows the County to spend the money it collects.
The next item is putting an item on the November raising the expenditure limit for the county.
The limit hasn't changed since 1980.
This ends call to the audience.
At noon, the #PimaSupes are expected to go into executive session to discuss Nanos.
Writs have a base fee, but it also is calculated by mileage from the Court to the property.
A member of Transit for All tells the #PimaSupes that widening roads only leads to more traffic issues.
"If it looks like a racetrack, people are going to treat it like a race track," she tells the Supes, talking about the widening of Broadway Boulevard.
Another speaker calls the proclamations as political lobbying and "gifts" - suggest the #PimaSupes should end proclamations altogether.
She then suggests the salaries of the supervisors should be paid on some specific metric ... although this includes weeds.
Perennial candidate Trista di Genova demands help from the #PimaSupes getting her service animals/livestock back, threatening to sue the County.
She makes numerous allegations against Sheriff Nanos, who she once ran against.
My sincere apologies to anyone whose name I don't spell correctly, I don’t have any ability to review speaker cards before or during today's meeting. It's always my best guess.
I'll also add commentary, link to news coverage to add context to those that I do write about.
I am also concerned about repeating statements that contain misinformation, opinion presented as facts, and what I will gently call hate speech.
As someone who has been to hundreds of public meetings, call to the audience isa mix of both performative political speech and authentic pleas by the community to their elected leaders.
I am also concerned about repeating statements that contain misinformation, opinion presented as facts, and what I will gently call hate speech.
The big one is that I am not going to repeat what every speaker says. There are a number of reasons, but this isn't stenography.
As always, I have a few quick community notes.
Call to the Public is about to start.
The #PimaSupes unanimously approve the increase in fees without discussion.
It will add an additional $5 to writs, primarily evictions.
Those fees are added to the judgements at the eviction hearing.
The head constable says the money will go to grants for Constables.
And we're done with proclamations.
The #PimaSupes will hear an item that would increase the fees charged by constables.
