Applies to the Treaty as well. It's apalling that we should have to spell it out to the far right, but apparently we do.It's time for a Constitution of New Zealand that not only sets out the basic expectations of the Treaty, the expectations of equal pay for work of equivalent value, and 1/2 #NZPol

We are 6 months away from an election. We do not need National trotting out a shiny new leader that will lull voters into forgetting just how disastrous this 3 headed monster coalition has been. Luxon is our best chance to ditch this gang

When you are concerned enough to block someone & then they pop up elsewhere to call you out for blocking them..,a sea of fluttering red flags!

I recall one Nat minister saying he didn’t see why ACT was making such an
uproar about the treaty principles bill when they could easily achieve the same outcome by changing treaty clauses in existing legislation. So that’s what they are doing!

I reckon right wing USA might follow Trump anywhere, but they are going to be completely undone by his compulsive lying about every damn thing. Even fascists hate uncertainty

And I’ve noticed those people who moan about debt don’t really know anything about it either. It’s a catchphrase for what party they think is in their best interests

Can’t tell you how very happy it made me to see the President of Finland and the Prime Minister of Canada lace up their skates & play a game of ice hockey as part of their first bilateral meeting in Canada

Yes. Definitely. But both Labour and Greens have to work much harder not to be seen as urban parties

One other important thing: for several years he went to hundreds of small rural towns where Orban’s party was strong & eroded Orban’s vote so
that the gerrymandering was less effective

We are going to have to do some of this in NZ.
The tactics are the same

Hungary has a population just shy of 10million - about the size of Michigan.
Over 6million showed up to vote - almost 75% of the pop. That's some serious commitment!

Trying ( not very successfully) to banish that stuff from our home. The amount of soft plastic we recycle is shocking (both us & the whole country)

Convincing the Germans that the Home Army was a legit military organisation meant they went to a POW camp instead of death or concentration camp, saved many lives. Also great they were liberated by the Polish Army, some were their relatives!

It was good to see that the final day in Budapest has morphed from
a political rally for TISZA to a celebration of democracy that is bigger than one party (120,000)
