With that said, if the email had said "Jesus Christ," another author whose works are in the public domain (albeit transcribed by four different editors), it actually would have had some plausibility.

Oh, crap! Just realized Decker also played the dad in "7th Heaven."
Yes, *that* guy.

The first movie I ever saw by myself. Bicycled to the theater and caught it right before Summer vacation ended.
I had thought it was just me not understanding it. But, yeah, it was **slow**.
If they'd said he was a decent guy who treats women with respect, now *that* would be defamation.
No. That'd be Elon or whomever is cutting education at the moment.
I *only* participate in the lottery if my coworkers are forming a pool. Not because I expect to win, but because I refuse to take the risk of them winning and me being stuck doing all their work when they quit.
It's a simple insurance policy.
Is it possible to "tamper" with McDonald's products considering they may or may not be "food"?
"everything Trump and JD "Trump Lite" Vance touch dies"
So, how do we get them to hug?
Really? My money was on Clostridium Cotulinum
(and, yes, I had to resort to Wikipedia for that).
I never understood why no one on the Right, who believe the weirdest prophecy at the drop of a hat, have never pegged these guys as the Horsemen of the Apocalypse:
RFK = Pestilence
Hegseth = War
Musk (food aid cuts via DOGE) = Famine
Trump = Death
I mean, it's *obvious* if you believe that stuff
Delightful if true, but it assumes a level of introspection and shame in ICE personnel equal to that of a golden retriever. Frankly, I'm not buying it.
I recall he once got in an argument with an interviewer who claimed his interpretation was wrong.
Yes, there can be multiple interpretations (that's actually a sign of great literature) but it's a hard pull to say the author's interpretation of their own work is *wrong*.

I'm not saying Long Beach is a gritty town, but...

Went to Memphis once and wound up visiting it. It was... interesting. Huge indoor space like 10x artificial bayous in Pirates of the Caribbean. Every sporting good you can imagine, and plenty you couldn't. Full gun and archery range. Also a hotel and restaurant.
Surreal. But better than Graceland.

Many communities allow telephones and tractors because they're useful for farming. But the phones are installed outside on the back porch and only used for business and not inside where they would disrupt everyday life.
Again, I've only read about this. Don't know how correct it is.

It actually reminds m of some Amish communities. My understanding (I don't have first hand knowledge) is when a new technology presents itself, they take a vote to determine whether it will bring people together or tear them apart. They then come up with rules for how it can be used.
After the White House complained about an unflattering photo of Karoline Leavitt, it was removed from AFP and Gettyโs systems. This is the photo in question. Please do not repost it. ๐

So,just make sure you have a distraction and getaway plan in place before putting on your dancing shoes or unzipping your fly.

About 20 years ago, a coworker and I attended a work function (yes, really) at the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda, CA. We decided to swing by Tricky Dick's grave for an impromptu spitting contest...
Finally saw an "I did that!" Trump sticker in the wild. Topping off my Prius doesn't has the visceral shock I'd expected, but it's still the most expensive gas I've ever bought ($6.25/gal - aka "the cheap stuff").

FYI YouTube is BURYING today's video (and we're dealing with ContentID stuff re: "Melonia" ๐คทโโ๏ธ) so if folks are able **PLEASE** share and 'hype button' this one as far as you are able - it REALLY helps ๐

Apologies that I've actually never read any of your work, professor. But I'm a computer programmer who has been to that conference and just got turned on to the Empire podcast. I was listening to your episode about the bronze age collapse right when this comes across my feed.
Serendipity!

As the ALT test points out, still not as brutal as the original Grimm version.
Looks like it's time to swing by the old Patreon. Could be worse. Last time I got called out for my big mouth, I wound up running a half marathon.
