Another shout out to Victor Glover as Artemis II's pilot. While coming back in for their re-entry, NASA mentioned repeatedly how clean and perfect their trajectory was.

This rarely-seen Glass Octopus was caught on camera. The clear sea creature was filmed by an underwater robot during an expedition off of the Phoenix Islands more than 3,200 miles northeast of Sydney, Australia.

Came out of the post office, saw that a guy had cut my saddle bag off my bike and was about to take off with it. I yelled "Please wait my cat's medicine is in there!" He started to run, and this grandma-age lady goes "SHE SAID HER CAT'S MEDICINE IS IN THERE" and WALLOPED him with her grocery bag.

To think, how quickly we could solve SO MANY PROBLEMS in both our country and frankly the world at large if we just gave people enough money to cover their basic needs. The only thing stopping us is a few greedy fuckers and a massive disinformation campaign.

Me too, sister! So many heartbreaks but we've got to keep fighting!
Tim Houston made hundreds of thousands in cuts to tourism and culture, but had $300,000 to gift to mining developers, citing that “mineral exploration brings $35 to $50 million per year to Nova Scotia communities”
Meanwhile tourism revenue in NS in 2025 was $3.7 billion, growing ~8% per year.
While all these cuts are horrifying, I want to be clear that, at the moment, these are PROPOSED cuts. There’s still time to your voice heard. Call or email your MLA. Call or email Tim Houston’s office. Call or email the Ministers related to the cuts you’re most angry about. See below for contacts.
Highly recommend all Nova Scotians read this article by @timbousquet.bsky.social @halifaxexaminer.ca for a clear-eyed analysis of what’s happening here. Link in next post.
Ellis on Guard is slowly making its way into the wider world! Locally, it’s now available at @woozlesbooks.bsky.social, @blockshopbooks.bsky.social, and Indigo Halifax, Dartmouth, Sunnyside Mall, and Coles in Halifax Shopping Centre. It’s also now available for online ordering. Phew!
Also incredibly disturbing. Even those who don’t care about wildlife or the environment should be concerned about what this means for tourism and wildfire prevention.
We have it! And the French version too!
Sorry! I don't check this account very often. Yes, the bookstores have stock of the vouchers.

Independent bookstores across the country can’t keep copies of Heated Rivalry in stock. “As soon as we get them, they sell out. It’s a good problem to have.”

Hey Sal- what's your question?
BREAKING: Massive Crowds of Anti-ICE protesters in Minneapolis, Minnesota as we speak. The tide is turning. America is Fed Up.
Americans should be fighting back against what is happening in this country. Having masked, secret police shooting people, breaking into homes and cars, is NOT normal.
A Black man was killed by ICE (off duty) in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve. And like Renée Good, he was an American citizen. But most people have not heard about Keith Porter.
I need y’all to realize this. Black people experience this lack of visibility all the time when it comes to being victims.
when the tides of power shift - and they will - there need to be tribunals to hold to account every person who was involved in this regime. accept nothing less.
Doubly offensive because the architects are never the ones sitting out on the beam
An executive threatened me with legal action because I shared my own drawings of characters from an original show they canned!!
The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service
