Quote graphic from Zack Polanski, Green Party Leader. "The King should be going nowhere near Donald Trump at this time. The truth is, Keir Starmer has waved this visit through because he's scared to stand up to this rogue president. Starmer is telling everyone he's Hugh Grant, while the reality is he is imitating Tony Blair by involving Britain in another illegal war in the Middle East. The reported 27 US B52 bombers taking off from British soil to bomb Iran is testament to that. " Promoted by Chris Williams on behalf of The Green Party, both at PO Box 78066, London SE15 9GQ.
“Starmer must end this involvement in Iran and stop the King's visit to the USA.”
@zackpolanski.bsky.social calls on Starmer to show leadership - stop UK involvement in illegal wars, refuse concessions to Trump, and oppose normalising fascism through inappropriate state visits.

It's 2026. It's time people stopped having imaginary friends whom they talk to.
The only reason they aren't classified as insane is that it's a mass delusion.
Try telling people you talk to (& can hear back from) any other fabricated entity & you'll soon be talking to psychiatrist.
The new normal: six in ten under-35s now have 'no religion'
It's official! Six in ten people aged 16 to 34 identify with no religion, according to new analysis of the gold-standard British Social Attitudes (BSA) survey – and once young people grow up without religion, research shows they almost never acquire one. humanists.uk/2026/04/02/n...

Let's go! 💚🙌🏽

Liz Truss told CPAC she doesn’t know which “side” Keir Starmer is on. She’s also said that Britain has been taken over by globalists and Islamists and appeared at an event called “Europestan: can Europe survive?” She didn’t want to justify her words when we ran into her.
All that lot claim to care about is patriotism. How patriotic is it to keep slamming your own country?
She is a lunatic, she needs help. She's lost touch with reality...assuming she ever had touch with reality in the first place (she was a Lib Dem once, so maybe she wasn't always nuts).

What if we told you David Hasselloff was a tool of the Western Cold War alliance, while Marillion were unwitting stooges of the Stasi? We explore Berlin's most epic locations to find out the full bizarre story of how music brought down the Berlin Wall:

Have recently returned to #OpenSUSE after many years away from #OpenSource operating systems. An incredible OS, so easy to use and very easy on resources when opting for the #XFCE flavour.

YAAASSSS! Such a cracking result!
The people of Gorton and Denton have made quite the statement with this outcome, I hope it's the catalyst for many more such reaults.
#HopeNotHate
On @bbc5live.bsky.social discussing the re-emergence of hope at 11am!
If I haven't died laughing at that point
Get in! Cracking start to the weekend!
Turns out bots can’t vote.
📌 ICYMI — Hope Beats Hate: Green Party Defeats Reform and Labour in Huge Gorton and Denton By-Election Victory
A concerted political and media campaign to scare voters…
bylinetimes.com/2026/02/27/hope-beats-ha...
A truly historic and (potentially) momentous win for the Greens. They’ve never won 10% in a by election before. Now they’ve won in a part of Manchester Labour has held since 1931.
Tactical voting groups say greens - not labour - will stop Reform in byelection.
On Thursday only Greens can beat Reform in Gorton and Denton. And we will beat their hate with a message of hope.
On Thursday help us make hope normal again.
I've been seeing this message recently, "Experiencing Interruptions?" from #YouTube, likely replying to 0 adverts ever being served to my non-Premium account.

A photo of the front cover of issue 1669 of Private Eye magazine, with the caption “on shelves now.” It has a yellow banner quoting “AN ABSOLUTE RAG OF A PUBLICATION” attributed to Jeffrey Epstein’s lawyer, 2011. The main cover line reads “ANDREW THE NET TIGHTENS.” The central image shows Prince Andrew in a suit standing outside a building beside a police officer in tactical gear. Speech bubbles read “What’s the time officer?” and “About 25 years.”
Andrew: The Net Tightens
The new Private Eye is out now.
‘The British Empire lasts 400 years. It involves millions and millions of people, and there are all sorts of motivations and actions and behaviours that range from the genocidal to the purely altruistic. But the structure of an empire ... people don’t set sail to set up colonies in order to benefit the people who already own the land. Empires, by their nature, are about the mother country, the imperial power, more than the colonies.’
Historian, author, and BAFTA-winning filmmaker @davidolusoga.bsky.social speaks to geneticist and Humanists UK Vice President @adamrutherford.bsky.social in the Spring issue of @newhumanist.bsky.social about empire, identity, religion in politics, and why logic gets you nowhere on The Traitors. ⬇️
Bertrand was a true polymath, an insane aptitude for myriad disciplines, including maths itself. His contributions to set theory, alone, were next level.
'Why I Am Not a Christian' – British philosopher Bertrand Russell, interviewed on the subject of his famous lecture and later pamphlet, in which he sets out why he chose humanism over Christianity. Russell was a logician, philosopher, and activist. He died #onthisday in 1970.
For years, police in the UK have been using facial recognition technology with no laws in place regulating its use.
The public is finally being asked what we think. Don't miss your chance to have your say, here's how we will be responding 👇

My memories of The Queen's Nose being a lovely, whimsical tale of wishes gone slightly wrong were entirely false.
Every single character in this show is horrid.
The street in Minneapolis where Renee Good was killed by ICE. Now a place of pilgrimage. Steady stream of people laying flowers and paying their respects. Many in tears and speaking of the deep fear they have of the federal government itself.
When we said NATO wasn't working we were derided.
When we said a nuclear weapons system relying on the US is dangerous we were called stupid.
The truth is the establishment are more interested in kissing US feet than keeping the UK safe.
It's time for a rethink.
