30,000 people died waiting for their #SocialSecurity #disability case because staffing was lowest in 30 years. How many will die this year? @rbreich.bsky.social @ossoff.senate.gov @warnock.senate.gov I'm scared I won't get my check, I'm 66 and on #SSDI. #Medicaid

I haven't worked at all... I sold a couple short stories (literally 2 and earned less than $400) but that was before my review last year and I reported them.

Anyone else get a surprise Continuing Disability Review?
I'm supposed to be on a 3 year cycle and just passed a review exactly a year ago.
I'm wondering if this has anything to do with staff cuts and branch closures.
You may have already tried this, but just in case: ring splints changed everything for me. My grip strength and stamina improved and my pain reduced. They take some getting used to, but I'll take any little quality of life improvement I can get.
Read a really well-sourced piece on why people are still masking (and why you should too).

Just to be clear. I'm anti-zionist, never again means never again for anyone. #freepalestine
Reconnecting with my Jewish roots and finally have an official name for Jewish scatting (singing with nonsense words, there's a lot of yai dai dai and stuff)! It's called nigun!
Today I spent 3 hours cooking dinner only to sit down to eat it and find I couldn't stomach the taste... Good thing my spouse enjoyed it. #autistic

I wasn't moving fast enough for Beans today.
SEATTLE: have you turned your ballot in to vote to tax wealthy businesses to fund permanently affordable, publicly owned, mixed income social housing?
I'm taking a few college-level courses after 10 years out of academia and had forgotten how inaccessible academic writing is. The readings are barely readable in my disability studies class. You'd think this class of all places would be challenging those exclusionary practices.

What an incredible and moving story. Really hit home this week. Go check it out!
I didn't see any buttons on the bottom of the Link seats like there are on the busses. And no one from security approached me at the station to help. I did fill out a form on ST's website at the time but this was a couple months ago and they never followed up and I don't remember exactly what I said
It's really difficult to board/get placed so I won't slide around on the Link in a wheelchair. A way to indicate a wheelchair user will be boarding or disembarking for extra time/an announcement that people need to clear the wheelchair areas could help
Thanks for the update! Congrats on making it through it all!
A picture of a rough architectural model featuring rectangular prisms that have been increased along various axes and iterated in various directions to make a kind of building compound.
A post from a vacation compound in Belgium where the buildings are rectangular prisms that have been increased along various axes and iterated in a circular direction. It looks similar to the previous picture.
To the architecture teacher who told me my project was garbage 14 years ago:
I just want to talk.
