Yep, was part of this in Sweden as well, but our church had heavy connections with American churches. Prosperity gospel was definitely a thing people believed in 😬 Every day I prayed for forgiveness so my depression could go away, actually insane to look back on.

Absolutely not. I thought I would be a Christian housewife with like 5 kids and maybe a worship leader in a big city church somewhere. Turns out I’m an autistic atheist who doesn’t want any children and can’t stand being in a city for more than a few minutes without having a meltdown 😭

No this is literally me, had a phone meeting with my doctor in february, made a follow-up at the end of may, and i have been thinking about it every. single. day 😭
