I am now curious... Between farm girl telling Logan to not believe in the balloon horse and Scarecrow mentioning that Logan has a particular, familiar accent (something out of Kansas), I think the story is hinting that Logan may have a hidden connection with Dorothy Gale that he's not aware of. Dorothy couldn't have made Logan 15 years ago (or even arrived that long), so it makes you wonder...

Looks like we got ourselves an explanation as to why Logan has such a breezy personality.

Though to be honest, when the Scarecrow brought up Logan's accent, I immediately realized that it's not simply a homage.

Dorothy: "I am Dorothy, and I am one of the Kansas Gales."

Scarecrow: "That accounts for your breezy manner."

Still one of the best explanations for Dorothy’s surname.

Especially on where Logan got such a breezy manner. 😏

The cruel irony is that Caine's original fate was mercy.

If he was really as terrible and flawed as he thinks his creators thought him to be, he would have been deleted for being a wasted of space. They didn't because they were proud of their creation.

Ironically, he met his end by his creator.

Because every argument I hear about spin-offs not being "canon" amounts to double standard inconsistencies that are the norm for the Zelda franchise. AU timeline? Zelda did several times with OOT. Details not matching up? Read ALTTP's manual and compare it to OOT. Because a fan wiki said so? LOL.
