Francois moved on to conduct a monitoring visit in Hanoi this week. He conducted file reviews, looking at all the consent and assent forms, and checking a selection of the data forms against the data in REDCap. It is a great opportunity for the team to review what can be done to improve quality.
Other midway observation, 2 outdoor/1 indoor in SR, smooth, productive, fruitful sessions. Teachers were very cooperative, confident and students were very engaged, enthusiastic. A very promising program in school and impactful @m-bright-study.bsky.social
First trip of the first mid-way observation, 28 February 2026 was through indoor/outdoor sessions. Student was active and engaged, while intervention teams were cooperative, confident, and covered nearly all planned content. Students found that MHL was very important in @m-bright-study.bsky.social

Even when it resolved by age 5, elevated risk of binge eating and compensatory behaviours remained in adolescence.

Great to see that Francois is halfway through his mounting visit to Phnom Penh and Hanoi. Always great to spend time with the country teams working on improving procedures, documentation and processes.
Monitoring visits can feel a bit daunting for teams, but hopefully this week with Francois has been a great opportunity to learn about research processes and procedures and to tighten these up for the country teams. Francois certainly enjoyed his time in Phnom Penh. Hanoi next!
Some welcome rain on the penultimate day of Francois’s monitoring visit to The Royal University of Phnom Penh. A few pictures from enchanting Cambodia!
