It was such an honour to be included in The House Magazine Women in Westminster this year, alongside some incredible women working in government, politics and journalism.

We have come a long way in the fight for equality in politics - and have much further to go.

Today my thoughts are with Giselle, Kyle and Juliana and everyone who loved them. I am also thinking of our Luton and Marsh Farm communities who were heartbroken by this horrific crime which happened in our town.

I am in ongoing contact with Bedfordshire Police, Luton Borough Council and relevant schools to ensure support is available to those who need it.

During dark times such as these, it is important to hold in our hearts the light which Giselle, Kyle and Juliana brought to all who knew them.

Stellantis could not have asked for a workforce more dedicated than those at the Luton plant.

They were rewarded for their hard work by having their jobs threatened. I asked the PM after the departure of the Stellantis CEO to support workers and secure a future for our manufacturing industry.

This morning, Cllr Mohammed Farooq and I joined the wonderful team at Empowering Education on the Dallow ward litter pick they had organised in partnership with ABCD-in-Luton!

It is up to us as members of the Dallow community to help keep our ward clean. Be responsible and help keep Dallow clean!

My ward colleague Cllr Farooq and I met with the local Bedfordshire community police officers to discuss the issues we face in Dallow.

A productive meeting with a helpful set of actions to follow up on for both parties!

Last week my ward colleague and I were joined on a Dallow Ward walk by enforcement, community engagement, highways, parks and green spaces officers as well as Deputy PCC Umme Ali to address residents concerns.

From this we have created a thorough ward plan which will be actioned by officers.

Wow. This is incredible. New Zealand's parliament is brought to halt by MPs performing a haka. Opposition party MP Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke begins the ceremonial group dance after asked whether her party supported controversial bill seeking to reinterpret country's founding treaty with Mฤori people
