I'm not nearly as anti-UB as everyone else seems to be. But some upcoming crossovers have gone too far. The more that Magic becomes the everything game for everyone, the less of an identity it has as a game for anyone at all. I think that fear is at the core of the anti-UB push. #mtg #secretlair

@magiconline.bsky.social I was just playing Vintage Dredge and it looks like there's a bug now where neither Creeping Chill nor Narcomoeba is triggering when put into the graveyard. I've also seen issues with not being allowed to dredge with an opposing Narset in play on occasion

My bigger concern is the future of the format and how things will look for eternal weekends this year. There was previously an understanding that a B&R would be on Sep 30. But this B&R now says the next announcement is Nov 24. Is this accurate? And will there be a chance of bans pre-EW?
@carmparens.bsky.social I personally think every deck having to pack so much grave hate to respect UB and oops while both decks have strong pivot plans that can juke hate is a problem. I appreciate your focus on the format and difference of opinion though (1/2)
Really missed the mark with Legacy; and with the next B&R being in the middle of EW's we can basically guarantee that we'll hear "we don't wanna make changes this close to major tournaments" in November. This was your chance, and now we're just stuck until 2026 at the earliest? Great...

That is quite frankly ridiculous. The fact they tried to justify it by reference a single challenge to justify the health of the meta when over the weekend the challenges had 12 top 8 placings for the deck... Just... What are they doing?
