Peterson field guides are the classic but there's also Kaufman. However, those field guides only cover insects. National Audubon Society has a guide that covers both insects and spiders.

Hi all, does anyone have a recommendation of their favourite field guides for insects and spiders in Eastern North America more specifically Ontario? Thanks!
