My daughter thoughtfully picked out a book by a Palestinian author for each of us. Excited to read the ones she bought me and her dad. Stories are powerful ways to connect with one another.

Honestly beginning to think Brave New World is more appropriate to this moment as I am pretty sure it was the ambivelence more than the tyranny that got us here. Yikes — why dystopian novel are we currently living? Might just reread Neil Postman’s Amusing Ourselves to Death.
