this is not said as a bad thing btw. i like getting out of my comfort zone and its an interesting little brain puzzle to try and design a character with someone else's sensibilities. kinda makes me wanna do fun redesigns of my ocs with other artist's sensibilities. could be a fun exercise.

one of the more difficult aspects of doing character design for other people is trying to reckon with my brain the reality that i am way more anal about design simplicity than Most People. what i would consider needlessly complex in my own designs is lavish and ornate to someone else
