#sketchoftheday: Drew this during a sketch hang with a pal and we both liked how the pencils were looking, but the goal always is to get things into inked form and see how well I preserved the nuances. Inevitably, I added colour, too.

Some of you might be familiar with the early signs of ASD from personal experience or media, but when @nuclearjackal was a kid it wasn’t as well known, and the stigma towards the disorder was more prevalent than today.
I’m always impressed when an artist can fill a scene with a ton of detailed items. The cover of The Big Soup” is a gorgeous example, and filled with references to his memoir and the ingredients of his own flavour of ASD.
