I'm pleased to say that the Vintage Buses website is up and running now. The delay was due to personal factors, but I'm back on top and looking forward to posting more photos, etc.

Happy Easter from us.
I've managed to find my original video of the 1928 Leyland Titan TD1 double decker bus, currently displayed by the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust at Bridgeton Garage.

Here's an off-topic question for UK readers:
In the 1960s either the Beano or the Dandy comic had a comic strip in which there was a flying craft equipped with rescue gear, much like Thunderbird Two, although this craft had a pointed nose and a glass cockpit.
What was it called?

A Glasgow Corporation double decker bus seen from above. The bus is positioned against the wall and access is restricted due to display boards blocking the view.
How dare the Riverside Museum in Glasgow push this fine specimen of a Glasgow-built bus against a wall! ๐ก This bus should take center stage.
This Albion Venturer was built by Albion Motors Glasgow specifically for Glasgow Corporation Transport in 1949. It was withdrawn from service in 1963.
Always say 'thank you' to the driver when getting off the bus.

Here's treat for all you Routemaster enthusiasts, not only do you get to see the very last Routemaster being renovated, you see the skills of the signwriter as he tries to recreate the advertising displayed on the bus while it was in service.

A red double decker vintage bus looking at the front. The large black and silver radiator grill is very prominent along with black mudguards. There are double decker buses either side of it, but not fully in the photo.
This was the last Leyland Titan front-engined bus to enter service in the UK.
Built in 1969, in service until 1981. On display at the Manchester Transport Museum.

A W7 class dropcentre type tramcar in bright yellow and green livery runs along a quiet suburban street. The tram's desto is displaying Sth Melb & St Kilda Beach, and the route number box is displaying route 10. The tram has advertisements for BE Hire on the lower front aprons either side of the centrally mounted headlight and fleet number 1028. A 1970s style car is parked on the edge of the street at right, but there are no other vehicles visible.
Todayโs historic pic: Melbourne W7 class tram 1028 on route 10 at Richardson St in Mills St, Middle Park, November 26 1988. Forty W7s were built in 1955/56 for newly opened Bourke Street lines in the lead up to the 1956 Olympic Games. 1028 was withdrawn in 1996, just the second W7 to be withdrawn.

A double decker bus, livery is orange and white. This is a vintage bus, with the narrow nose of the radiator grill prominent. It stands alone with a couple of red double deckers at the back.
The rear of the same bus showing the platform. There is nothing else of interest at the front of the bus.
Looking down on the driver's cab on the same bus, it all looks worn and rusted inside.
This is a Leyland Titan PD3/14. In service 1968-1981, full details on the last photo.
Currently on display at the Manchester Transport Museum.

Crusty old 1979 high quality road bicycle by Condor.
Amazing score yesterday. Walked past builders doing a house renovation and this was on the pavement with the other waste. They said I could take it. A 1979 Condor Italia probably last ridden around 1992.
That should clean up well.
Had the pleasure of riding behind 'Russell' up to Beddgelert on the WHR yesterday morning.
Pictured is the afternoon service passing through the iconic Aberglaslyn Pass!
The expansion of bus-mounted traffic enforcement cameras is yielding faster and safer trips for @mta.info bus riders. Further demonstrating the program's effectiveness, just 9 percent of violators commit more than one violation, reports @nyc.streetsblog.org. nyc.streetsblog.org/2025/03/25/f...
A huge thank you to everyone who came to our first #SuperSunday event of 2025. Whether you're a first time or returning visitor, one of the visiting bike or scooter owners, or one of our hard working volunteers, we couldn't have done it without you! There's more at Bridgeton
A wee experiment with an AI generated video for TikTok, voice, script and images all generated by AI. All about cats.
The video is not very good, because of the 9:16 ratio size of the screen.

Four feral black cats being fed in our back garden. They are from the one family, the mother cat on the right middle. The daughter at the top, the two other cats being male.
Here is the extracted text from the image:
A few years ago, four feral black cats came to our back door every morning to get fed. We were told by neighbours that they were from the same family. One by one, they gradually disappeared. #cats #blackcats #feralcats
I know it's belated, but let's hope we all have a Happy New Year, to all at Bluesky.
