We urgently need major #taxreform to grandfather and limit negative gearing by shifting to tax incentives that encourage the building of more sustainable #affordablehousing and providing more long term secure and #affordablerentals.

#qanda another real issue here is, what sort of gas are we talking about? Has anyone else noticed that there’s no mention of #Fracking. When the #LNP say they want more #Gas, where’s it coming from, what sort of gas, and at what cost to our ground water supply.
Yes, higher #debt = more money spent on servicing that debt AND, BUT! Over time #inflation will continue to reduce the debt as a percentage of revenue. Meanwhile, Victoria has #invested more than most on #infrastructure and people in Vic are earning more too - all good news for Victorians. #auspol

Water is dangerous, so we teach our kids to swim and we patrol beaches and fence pools. We don't ban swimming, then throw them in the water at 16.
Teach kids to use social media. Put in place laws to force safer algorithms. Make social media companies reduce harms. Introduce more data privacy.
Way past time to leave #Twitter now #X. Still there on the dark side too - increasingly suspect that the end is nigh…. Would love to know how many have left completely already.
