Spot on - they love poor conditions and won’t flower well, or at all, if in good soil.

Yes the tulips and the tree blossom have been good. To my surprise they even survived the two hail storms we had yesterday.
I love this garden.
I like the bench and colourful flowers - daffodils definitely and tulips? The new fence is still a bit fingernails on a blackboard though.
I was only away for a couple of weeks but so unhappy about all the nasty X pollution now scarring the beautiful blue skies.
Barack Obama pays tribute to Robert Mueller, calling him one of the finest FBI directors in history and honoring his unwavering commitment to the rule of law
Love the tulips. I managed to do my first high level mow of the year today. Life and light are always better after the Spring equinox.
So much better now the sun has come out and I see it is time to mow.
Alright… years ago I was driving a borrowed station van through the mountains after a remote broadcast. Signal fading in and out, road empty ‘cept for one porch light way up a hill. This song came through the static and suddenly that whole stretch of highway felt like it belonged to somebody.
It's been a day friends. Enjoy...

Terry Pratchett in a blue jacket and Akubra hat holding a young owl for release.
Eleven years since you crossed the black sands. I wish I could say that the world is better than you left it (although it will always be better for having had you in it) but at least there is a new Young Sam to help carry on the Pratchett name and ethos. Love you always ❤️

Yes is,and always was glorious, and please listen to the instruments as well as the pre auto tune voices. Bit worried that Bluesky is just feeding me things I want to see like X
Teach Your Children - and just dive into that steel string guitar with your eyes closed.
There is no path to sustainability that does not include regenerating our soil.
Sen. Murray: "I'm just sickened by this. To go into this war unprepared, to use outdated data, and to have this horrific thing happen where children were killed in a school sends a horrible message to those that are in a war with us and to our own constituents about what America's values are."
We can all agree that I'd look fantastic on a £5 note
I think so and have ordered one Thank you.
Richard Tice at his “best”. Why would anyone vote for a billionaire, living in Dubai, because he says he is a representative of everyday people in UK?
Good morning!
An early treat of tulips!
I so enjoy the process of imaging how different colour combinations are going to work
I chose Alison Bradley, the deep red double. Bo jangles for its raspberry tones and it will be joined by black parrots frilly luxury 🤗
Have an awesome day 🌸🌱
Beautiful- mine now have three stems after many years. Hovering on the edge of the bed but will be gone before we mow but such an eye catcher for now.
Three pale blue star-like Chionodoxa flowers with dark blue stripes.
It's a miracle - the slimey plant assassins of the night have left the Chionodoxa flowers alone this spring #GardensHour 🌱

I would love one - what is it called?
Even before the illegal attack on Iran, I was preparing a talk on how climate change, and especially AMOC collapse, could lead to UK population becoming refugees. Little did I know that some of the most xenophobic Brits would be fleeing Dubai just so soon. Always remember, it could be you

Grief - think he needs some help. Time for family and friends to step up.
I've already made my feelings about this abhorrent policy clear but one antidote is to repost this piece I wrote last year about one refugee's story
