I think it’s important to point out: ICE does NOT have the same authority as a police officer. They do NOT have the power to enforce laws, only to engage in their specific tasks.

IE: they don’t do traffic, etc. impeding traffic is not a penalty ICE can enforce against

A grim reminder: these people will never be satisfied. There’s no point at which they will say “we’ve won, let’s enjoy life.” They will always be looking for someone else to punish, to revile, to dehumanize. They’re empty without that.

Honestly half the time I can’t tell those two apart. I tend to think of them as one entity.

Unfortunately, yes and just like in traditional carcinization I’m unsure of the evolutionary advantage. Seems more like a bug than a feature.

Deactivated my other account after spending a couple days on here. This easily replaces my X account and it is so much simpler to follow all my varied topics of interest without a bunch of trolls or clutter. More communication and less bad faith arguing.

I believe this is a dendrite which is not a fossil, but is commonly mistaken as one. Usually on limestone they are caused by manganese or iron oxide rich waters that flow into cracks and bedding planes and creates neat branching (dendritic) patterns.

Is that how we’re deciding now? It has the word road in it so he must be qualified.

This is like a toddler picking for these positions.

The federal government doesn’t even have that many regulations or guidance on pfas right now and writing an article like Trump might consider it a priority is laughable.
